I don’t know about you guys, but sometimes I like to feel a deep clean. Like a deep burn in the gym but on your face and in the comfort of your bathroom instead. Much easier, convenient and way more fun.
Which Is why today I’m here to chat to you about Neutrogena’s new Micellar Gel to Foam 2 in 1 Deep Clean Face Wash. It’s a makeup remover and cleanser in one so if you are feeling super lazy (or are super lazy) then listen up!
Plus, it provides you that deep clean feel I mentioned in the beginning.
Now, before I go on I must say that I have partnered up with Neutrogena to chat about this product although as per usual all opinions (and additional small talk) are entirely honest (maybe a little crazy) but entirely my own.
So here’s the lowdown. There are two cleansers in this range one for oily skin and one for dry. Since my skin tends to err on the oily side (and especially now while I’m growing baby numéro dos and have extra sebum in tow) that is the one I’ve been using.
Anyway, they’re designed to go on your skin dry to stick to makeup. Like micellar water, but in gel form instead. Then all you have to do is add water, they foam up, you lather, rinse off and TA DA your makeup is gone.
I was a little wary about these cleansers, as I am a major groupie of the double cleanse and can’t go to sleep without double cleansing my day away. HOWEVER, I was surprised, because with just one cleanse my makeup was gone – mind you I only wear BB cream and a little bronzer every day so I haven’t tried it out on a full made up face.
(But with a toddler in tow, I can’t remember the last time I had time to pop on a full made up face so this is as in depth as my review can go ladies. Soz. Unless you would be willing to wait like another five years HA.)
Anyhoo, I did cleanse again following this cleanser because – GROUPIE (and I just couldn’t leave it at one) but I think this would be a kick a$$ product to travel with and therefore take up less space in your luggage. And also killer for those who are fans of only cleansing once.
SO to cut things short these cleansers are really rad.
The fact that they are catered to both dry and oily skin is even radder. AND you can find them almost anywhere: Coles, Woolworths, Priceline, Target, Chemist Warehouse and even at my house.
Also; they are $17.00 …did you read that? $17.00!! I actually pay more for avocado on toast.
However, if you are big into your green beauty then these are not for you. These are not greenie-esque at all. Dun daaah. Soz.
For everybody else, if you have been on the hunt for a new cleanser I would happily trade in a week’s worth of avocado toast for one of these.
Tell me babez, do you want to swap your weekly avocado toast spend and give these a whirl?
