Beauty Review: My Nip + Fab Faves

Nip and Fab

Ok, so I’m all for expensive skincare although realistically it’s not like we can all fork out a couple hundred dollars on a serum every few months. Or maybe WE CAN? I guess it all depends on how much we really feel like investing (buy and ignore the price) right? Or how much money is left in the bank. LOL.

Anyway, sometimes it pays to have a few back-ups of cheaper pharmacy type things that are good. And I wanted to introduce you guys to a few goodies from Nip + Fab you can grab them from

I tried a few things from the range and some I loved, some I didn’t. Mostly because I compared some of the products to more expensive versions of the same thing which was a little annoying, but I was actually surprised by the brand.

So a little about Nip + Fab. You see, this skincare and body line was founded by the same lady Maria Hatzistefanis, who founded the skincare line Rodial (which I am a major fan of). I feel like this brand is just a more affordable alternative to that.

Most of their stuff is labelled ‘firming’, ‘boosting’, ‘smoothing’ etc… depending on the skin concern which I think makes the whole range is super easy to navigate. Plus, if something doesn’t work for you it’s not the end of the world because it would have cost you under $50.

Also; Kylie Jenner is an ambassador of the brand. And apparently she loves the Kale Fix Mask for hydration, The Glycolic Face Pads (which didn’t work for me), the Glycolic Cleanser, The Kale Fix Moisturiser, The Viper Venom Micro Blur (under makeup for a dewy selfie look) and The Dragon’s Blood Serum – which I’m sure I’ve seen on her snapchat before.

Anyway, this is a super short intro to the brand. It’s affordable, the products aren’t too bad and below are three of my faves.

Nip and Fab Kale Fix Makeup Removing Pads – $35.00

These are actually kicka$$ makeup removing pads and I’m currently using two every night. One to get rid of the makeup on my eyes, and another to wipe away any makeup on the rest of my face. They take everything off. Including mascara. I don’t wear waterproof stuff, but it does take off the normal stuff. Infused with watercress and kale extracts I find these super hydrating and the actual wipe doesn’t fall to shreds like others. This was actually my fave. from the range and the only product I will continue to use – and travel with! I do also double cleanse following these too (coz I’m psycho about my cleansing).

Nip and Fab

Nip and Fab Glycolic Instant Fix Mask – $29.95

‘Pore tightening’ and ‘exfoliating’ are the main selling points of this mask and for an instant pep me up it delivers. I did however, find that it left me quite shiny, which might be a bad sign that it stripped my face. It’s pretty strong. So if you have sensitive skin I’d definitely only leave it on for the recommended time of 10 minutes. It’s a clear gel too which I loved as it means you can leave it on and answer the door for randoms without looking weird. The Glycolic acid def. refined and helped my skin tone too!

Nip and Fab

Nip and Fab Kale Fix Moisturiser – $49.95

A really light and hydrating moisturiser that didn’t leave my face feeling greasy and my makeup was easily applied on top. Also enriched with kale, watercress and almond oil however it’s not too rich. I really liked this moisturiser as an everyday type of thing, although I am mindful that the amounts of ‘superfoods’ are minimal ha and these prodz aren’t entirely natural. However, they are good options for pharmacy brands!
